It's been a year of constant change and challenges. To help you prepare for whatever lies ahead while you keep learning and operations going, we're bringing together our state's K-12 tech leaders for PowerSchool CONNECT California. This free online event will take place on Tuesday, December 15.

The data we need to derive these values already exists in the teacher portal.  That means you are already able to collect this data by simply having your teachers use the PowerTeacher Pro gradebook.
+
At PowerSchool CONNECT California, attendees will gain:
+
* K-12 technology best practices, shared by successful educators, tech leaders, and PowerSchool product experts
We will publish a Best Practices document, outlining the fields that teachers need to populate, then create a page that pulls the data together in one place, at the class level. The teacher will be able to view the derived data for each week, review it, then certify it as accurate.  We will also create reports on the admin side that enable a user to generate completed forms for a selection of teachers or classes and for one or more selected weeks, in case of an audit.
+
* Industry connections that you can go to for support, collaboration, and inspiration

+
* A preview of PowerSchool’s strategic vision and solution roadmap
Even though the plan is not final yet, there is additional information that we can share with you:
+
The event will feature sessions designed to help you improve flexibility for your hybrid education needs. Hear from:
+
* Roger Sprik, PS Administrator, Green Dot Public Schools National, CA
We will host a special CA user meeting to communicate our plan.
+
* Glen Warren, Director of Literacies, Encinitas Union School District
